One misty summer morning when everything was still, When sunshine lit the garden, and flower grew on the sill, I took my box of colours, and placed my brushes where I could spend the whole day painting in the softly scented air.
It may have been the glisten of dew upon the grass, The movement of the flower heads nodding as I pass, Or myriad tiny winged things, I really couldn’t say, But I know that something magical was happening that day.
